Crystal structure and thermo-stability of manganese chelate with MHA(-H)
The manganese chelate complex with MHA(-H) (the anion derived from the so-called methionine hydroxy-analogue, MHA) has been synthesized and characterized. The single-crystal structure (C10H18MnO6S2, 1, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, Z = 4, a = 15.810(5), b = 9.359(3), c = 10.255(3) angstrom, = 91.312(6)degrees) exhibits that each Mn(II) center is chelated by two anions derived from MHA, which is extended to -carboxylate O atoms bridged dinuclear Mn(II) complex. The thermo-stability of the complex 1 was investigated by thermal gravity analyses, and the apparent activation energy (E-a) of the decomposition were also calculated. CCDC1418465 [GRAPHICS]
