Electrical conductivity of flowing polyaniline suspensions
The electrical conductivity of suspensions composed of electrically conducting polyaniline in nonconducting liquid (2,2,4-trichlorobenzene) was measured as a function of electric-field strength in dependence on the shear rate in Couette flow. The electrical properties are discussed in terms of the organization of conducting particles in electric fields and related to the Mason number, which is used to describe the electrorheological behavior of suspensions in the literature.
