Humidity controlled light transmittance of salt modified porous polymeric membranes
Addition of LiCl into polymers creates continuous phase of porous structure that transports vapor in a rate much faster than existing products. Porous networks allow light to transmit in a humid condition and transmission proceeds through interconnected pores and refraction of filled water. The magnitude of transmittance is controlled by salt content, porosity and the level of humidity.
