The report summarises the latest developments in the field of high-temperature technology at the ACHEMA 2018. With the aim of turning away from fossil raw materials, five research projects with focus on electricity and carbon dioxide as feedstocks for a flexible and decentralized production of chemical energy carriers as well as approaches for more efficient heat integration are presented.
