Research on the impact of model jig test device operation factors on material bed
Jigging is one of the common methods for coal beneficiations. There are many factors affecting the jigging process, the three main factors consist of material characteristics, jig structure, and operation factors. For certain materials and jig structures, determining a reasonable operating system will guarantee good separation effect. Therefore, it is very important to research the impact of jigging operation factors on the material bed. We used a model jig test device to research the effects of the air cycle, inlet period, exhaust period, and air pressure on the material bed. Of these, the air cycle and air pressure were two key factors. The device's optimum operation parameters: air cycle 1.3s, inlet period 16%, exhaust period 22%, expansion period 40%, and air pressure 0.004 MPa.
