Problems were discussed about the published equation coefficients of Tong and coworkers [Fluid Phase Equilibria 427 (2016) 549-556] for describing mathematically the ethenzamide solubility in different pure solvents using the NRTL model and Wilson model. The back-calculated values using the reported parameters' values for the two models are not the solubility as stated in the published paper. Larger deviations were observed between our back-calculated data and those reported in the authors' published paper. The expression of NRTL model was corrected and the parameters of the two equations were re-analyzed. (C) 2018 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
