Dynamically vulcanized Bu rubber was dispersed in high-moL polyisobutylene by using a twin screw corotating extruder at 200-300 rpm and filtered through 50 mu m net. The formulations were extruded as 1 mm thick tape to study their peel resistance at 23-70 degrees C. The melt volume rate and peel adhesion of the formulations were detd. The addn. of polyisobutylene resulted in improvement of temp. resistance of the compounds.
