Eastern galega (Galega orientalis Lam.) as potential energy plant
Eastern galega (Galega orientalis Lam.) was cultivated and fertilized with N-20, P-50, K-150, N20K50K150 doses for 5 years. Then each year, samples of plant biomass were taken for anal. to det. combustion heat, calorific value, ash content and its compn., and crop of dry mass. The highest values of energetic parameters (18.423 and 18.267 MJ/kg, resp.) were found for eastern galega fertilized only with K at the dose of 150 kg/ha, in the fifth year of cultivation. The soil fertilization with N(20)K(50)K(150 )resulted in a highest yields of dry matter and energy value of biomass. The content of macroelements decreased in series Ca > K > Mg > P > S > Na.
