Nine non-ionic emulsifiers from the group of fatty alc. ethoxylates (5-8% by mass) and optionally a stabilizer (5% by mass) were homogenized with the oxidized wax at 95-98 degrees C by using an agitator (1000-10 000 rpm) and then cooled to room temp. The evaluation of the emulsification efficiency was carried out by particle size measurements of the disperse phase and emulsion stability detn. The highest efficiencies of emulsification were obtained for emulsions contg. stabilizer and an emulsifier with 18 ethoxylation degree in amts. above 6.5% by mass.
