Determination and Correlation of Solubilities of 1,3,5-Trifluoro-2,4,6-triiodobenzene in Different Solvents from 289.25 to 332.15 K
The solubilities of 1,3,5-trifluoro-2,4,6-triiodobenzene (IFB) in 12 pure organic solvents including methanol, ethanol, acetone, toluene, ethyl acetate, 1,4-dioxane, 1,2-dichloroethane, acetonitrile, tetrahydrofuran, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, and n-hexane were determined from 289.25 to 332.15 K at atmospheric pressure using the synthetic method. It was found that the solubilities of IFB in different solvents increase with increasing temperature. The experimental solubilities of IFB were regressed by the modified Apelblat equation, lambda h equation, and Wilson model. The modified Apelblat equation fits the best with the experimental solubilities of IFB with the average relative deviations less than 1.44%.
