Synthetic Semiconductor Diamond Electrodes - A Photoelectrochemical Study Under Laser Flash Illumination
Photopotential transients, observed upon illumination with nanosecond laser flashes, were recorded for thin-film chemical-vapor-deposition diamond electrodes under open-circuit conditions. The transients were analyzed using a simple equivalent circuit of the electrodes. Components of the equivalent circuit were determined from the photopotential decay curves. They closely coincide with those measured by the rectangular-current-pulse technique.
