Synthesis, Characterization and Properties of Solid Waste Based High Belite Cement
To alleviate pressure on natural resources and solve the environmental problem of solid waste, we recognized the urgency of finding a substitute for belite cement raw materials, and synthesized a belite cement from solid waste. The results show that the belite cement can be successfully prepared by calcinating carbide slag, silica fume, and red mud; The Ca2+ in the mineral crystal structure can be replaced by other ions in solid waste; Long-term strength is higher than ordinary Portland cement.
