Effect of ozone treatment on ferroelectric polymer film
Poly(vinylidene fluoride-trifluoroethylene), P(VDF-TrFE) is chemically durable and can maintain its physical properties at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. Moreover, it has ferroelectricity and is used as a thin film. For this reason, research is being actively conducted in various applications. However, the surface energy of the P(VDF-TrFE) film is so low that when an additional layer is formed on the film, peeling may occur due to the weak adhesive, preventing a stable process. In this study, the surface wettability and surface free energy changes by a UV-Ozone treatment of the surface of ferroelectric films under various conditions are discussed.
