Eleven fractions of plastic waste selected on waste dumps were studied for tech. properties (humidity, flammability, ash, volatiles), energetic values (combustion heat), thermal properties (melting ignition and siring temps.) as well as for chem. compn. The waste met requirements for prodn. of solid fuels (heating value usually 37-48 MJ/kg).
