The compns. of 7 corm available foam-forming extinguishing agents were detd. by GC-MS spectroscopy. After addn. of solvents (alkoxyalcs.) and stabilizers (aliph. alcs.), they contained many cornpds. irritant or toxic to humans and to the aquatic environment.
