The content of metals (Al, Ba, Bi, Ca, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, Ti and Zn) was detd. in 20 com. eye-shadows available on the Polish market. Contents of As, Hg, Cd and Se were below detectable limits. The tests were performed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Samples contained Ni, Cr, and Pb harmful to human health in allowable concns.
