Scanning-Tunneling-Microscopy Studies of Metal-Surfaces - Surface-Reactions, Discrimination of Chemically Different Elements, and Surface Alloying
Recent novel results concerning the applicability of the scanning tunneling microscope for atom-resolved studies of chemical reactions, discrimination of chemically different elements, and alloying of nonmiscible metals at metal surfaces are discussed.
