POLYMER NETWORKS - STATE-OF-ART OF THE MOLECULAR-STATISTICAL THEORY
The article describes the state-of-art of the molecular-statistical research of the physics of polymer networks. The importance of theoretical research in rubber elasticity is discussed, together with its relevance for Various applications of polymer networks. The tube and slip-link model of rubber elasticity are explained in some details and their efficiency and applications are discussed.
