Effect of hydrogenation on the thermal properties of diene elastomers
Hydrogenation is an important method of chemical modification which leads to a variety of useful elastomers and thermoplastics with unique structures and properties. Hydrogenation influences the high as well as the low temperature properties of the diene elastomers. This paper delineates some high and low temperature properties of hydrogenated natural rubber (NR), chloroprene rubber (CR) and styrene butadiene copolymer (SBR).
