The paper outlines the consequences of using powdered or pre-dispersed chemicals for handling, compound mixing and product properties. The positive influence of predispersed chemicals on the compound preparation and on the quality of the mix is described. Optimal vulcanizate quality can only be achieved by utilizing superfine dispersed materials.
