A very narrow production tolerance is required for thermoformed parts which are automatically filled on filling lines. Such tolerance, however, can only be achieved in a forming/punching tool. In a new forming/punching machine, advantages of the forming/punching operation are combined with a cost-effective tool technology. The steel rule dies are directly integrated in the forming tool.
