Stretch film made from metallocene polyethylene (m-PE-LLD) exhibits advantages in production and quality over conventional PE products. It can be prestretched to greater extents without impairment to its greater mechanical strength, leading to thinner films. The amount of plastic needed per packaging unit can therefore be reduced.
