The mechanical recycling processes that have been employed for thermoplastics with long and continuous-fibre reinforcement so far have produced recyclates with a short fibre length. The bondpress process permits fibre lengths in excess of 50 mm to be achieved, thereby giving good mechanical properties for 100 % recycling.
