Vacuum injection in the processing of glass fiber reinforced plastics.
The vacuum injection process is used for the production of parts from glass fiber reinforced plastics (GRP) which are smooth on both sides with a high degree of reproducibility. In one newly developed unit the usual monitoring of the process of charging resin by the operator is eliminated. Simple handling; parts free from air bubbles and small amounts of residual resin are additional advantages of the new system.
