In critical moulding areas like sudden cross-sectional changes and at the rib-feet, conventional programs reach their limits. With the aid of three-dimensional simulations it is possible to calculate very precise results, as shown by the comparison with experiments. By consideration oi inertial forces even the prediction of jetting is possible.
