Controlling movements - Magnetostrictive linear transducers increase reliability in injection moulding
The control of movements in injection moulding machines requires linear transducers to feed the stroke information back to the controller. Until recently, potentiometric linear transducers were normally used. Now the market share of non-contacting, magnetostrictive linear transducers is increasing because of their increased reliability.
