Joint Effects of Diffusion Resistance and Catalyst Deactivation on the Selectivity of Complex-Reactions Proceeding via Different Mechanisms
The analysis presented is devoted to kinetic problems connected with the joint effects of catalyst deactivation and mass transfer on the selectivity and optimal process design of catalytic processes following different reaction schemes. The relation between the process mechanism and the changes of selectivity with the drop of conversion is modelled for the presence and absence of intraparticle diffusion.
