Photoinduced Electron-Transfer in Porphyrin-Quinone End-Capped Poly(Methacrylic Acid) .1. Photophysical Studies
Photoinduced electron transfer from porphyrin (P) to benzoquinone (Q) moieties covalently attached to poly(methacrylic acid) (PMAA) chain ends was studied. The effect of polymer chain length, pH, and ionic strength of the aqueous polymer solution on the rate constant of charge separation was determined.
