Activity of Vanadium Catalysts with Large Iron Contents Towards Oxidation of Sulfur-Dioxide
In 1992-93, a total destruction of vanadium catalysts with large iron contents used for oxidation of sulfur dioxide took place in three Polish sulfuric acid plants. This paper discusses the influence that the changes in the active phase of catalyst with great amounts of added iron had upon the rate of the SO2 oxidation reaction.
