Mo-substituted YBa2(Cu1-XMo)(3)O-7-delta superconductors been synthesized,under identical rized according to resistivity measurements. The Mo ions suppress the superconductivity very effectively, with an average rate of 9 K per at % of Mo which is explained on the basis of disordering of the CuO2 planes and decreasing free carrier concentration.
