Thermodynamic Properties of LaFeO3 Studied by Means of Galvanic Cells with Solid Oxide Electrolyte
EMF measurements of solid electrolyte galvanic cells at temperatures ranging within 1073-1273 K supplied more information about the thermodynamics of the reaction of LaFeO3 formation. Gibbs energy, enthalpy, and entropy of LaFeO3 formation, as well as equilibrium oxygen pressures for the orthoferrite dissociation, were determined as functions of temperature.
