Raman and ESR Measurements in Stage-I AlCl3 Graphite

We report Raman and electron spin resonance( ESR) data in stage-1 AlCl3 graphite intercalation compounds (GIC’s). The results show that two kind of intercalate species are simultaneously present : Al2Cl6 molecules and layers of solid AlCl3.
