Varieties of Crystalline Architecture by Using Hydrogen-Bonding in Biimidazolate Metal-Complex Systems .1. Dimer Complex
Two crystal structures of [Cu(tacn)(Hbim)](ClO4). MeOH (2) (tacn = 1,4,7-triazacyclononane) and [Cu(SalenNMe(2))(Hbim)](2) (1) (salenNMe(2) = N-salicylidene-N’,N’-dimethylethylenediamine) have been determined. The structures are the first examples of a mononuclear complex containing monodeprotonated 2,2’-biimidazolate (Hbim(-)) as a bidentate ligand.
