Presented are conditions, under which it is viable to unite oil-bearing formations into the one production object. A table of projected well＇s average oil rate l-function values is given out, in which areas are highlighted, where unification of oil-bearing formations into the one production object is unexpedient. A conclusion is made on perspectivity of multiple zone vertical wells application (or multiple zone inclined wells when implementing cluster drilling).
