Reviewed are problems of practical application of new swelling-in-water polymer materials in oil field practices. Presented are results of field tests on sewed poly acrylamides injection, conducted by Oil Producing Company "Nadvornayaneftegas". Swelling-in-water polymer materials application efficiency is evaluated. Reological parameters of swelling-in-water polymer solutions and conventional water soluble polymers are compared.
