Reviewed are problems, dealing with evaluation of field equipment residue resources by statistical method. It is stated, that application of this method will enable to increase operational period of field equipment, which has already exceeded its designed operational period, fixed by manufacturer. A concrete example is given for determination of residue resource of field equipment.
