Diesel fuel hydrotreating catalysts based on pentasil-type zeolites of different origin
A study has been made of the catalytic properties of aluminium-nickel-molybdenum hydrotreating catalysts with industrial pentasil-type zeolites of different origin in the hydrodesulphurization and deparaffination of diesel fuel. Of the three catalysts studied of a certain composition and preparation method most active is the KDM-grade specimen based on a pentasil-type zeolite produced in Groznyi. Winter grades of diesel fuel can be produced with this catalyst. The presence of impurity analcime and an amorphous phase in TsVM-grade zeolites produced in Nizhnii Novgorod and Angarsk is the main reason for the low and difficult-lo-reproduce hydrodeparaffinizing activity of catalysts based on them.
