Blow molding
Industrial blow molding is now a ''hotter'' technology because more designers and molders are realizing the functional and economic benefits of the process, beyond the typical smaller blow-molded bottles and containers so prevalent in many packaging markets, A confluence of advancements in the machines and their head designs and controls; in the capabilities of multilayer and sequential, dual-durometer material extrusion; in parison manipulation; in mold technology, with enhancements in moving cores and sections; and in continuing advances in both commodity and engineering materials has stimulated the blow molding of more large industrial parts. Look for more interesting applications to come in major markets such as automotive, business machine housings, consumer goods, medical, and recreation as the curiosity and knowledge about the process continue to build.
