Adhesion at polymer interfaces and pressure sensitive adhesive tapes
First presented at SPE's 1997 New Technology Forum, this article is concerned with the problem of controlling adhesion. The authors describe methods for examining the surface and interfacial energetics of polymers, surface rearrangements that can occur when an adhesive is in touch with its backing, and a means of modeling the cohesive properties of the adhesive.
