Then are presented the studies aimed at the development of technology of dryers production and testing their usefulness in the paint and varnish industry. Dryers in a form of liquid organic salts have been obtained by neutralization or exchange of compounds of di-or tetravalent metals with acidic butyl eater of oleic acid. New interesting properties of the syn the sized dryers make it possible to use them as drying accelerators for varnishes. Technical obstacles in the implementation of this technology have been overcome application of some of those dryers in industry should be possible.
