There is presented the technology of production of basic surfactant from methyl esters of fatty acids, monomethylethanoloamine, maleic anhydrate and sodium sulfite. There are discussed properties of products obtained from esters of tallow and of cocoa acids as well as the possibility of their applications as components for selected products of house hold chemistry.
