SEPARATION OF THE OXOANIONS OF GERMANIUM, TIN, ARSENIC, ANTIMONY, TELLURIUM, MOLYBDENUM AND TUNGSTEN WITH A SPECIAL CHELATING RESIN CONTAINING METHYLAMINOGLUCITOL GROUPS
The chelating resin Wofatit MK 51, which contains methylaminoglucitol groups, forms complexes with different oxo anions. Moreover it can react as a weakly basic anion-exchange resin. Loading and elution curves as well as break-through capacities were evaluated. The excellent sorption behaviour of the resin for germanate and tellurite allows separations such as germanium from tin, germanium from arsenic and selenium from tellurium.
