COMPARISON OF SOME ISOTHERMS FOR REPRESENTING ION-EXCHANGE EQUILIBRIA
It is shown that the Langmuir isotherm corresponds to a constant equilibrium quotient of the corresponding ion-exchange reaction, i.e. ideal behavior. Such behavior in ion exchange is so rare that it has little practical use.
