Robust Predictive Control of Systems with Uncertain Impulse-Response
This note presents an unconstrained predictive control algorithm for stable systems described in terms of impulse representation. Closed-loop nominal stability is guaranteed by imposing only one terminal constraint at the end of the prediction horizon. Robustness with respect to uncertainties in the impulse response coefficients is enhanced by means of an additional ’robustifying’ regulator that does not modify nominal tracking performances. The synthesis of this regulator does not require any extra computational burden.
