인전된 단(stage) 사이에 상호 혼합류를 갖는 혼합계에 대해 이론적인 모델을 수립하고 동시에 실험결과를 얻었다. 상호 혼합류비는 교반기의 회전속도, 연속상과 분산상의 유량비 그리고 screen opening의 크기에 따라 측정하고 이들 결과로부터 impeller의 형태로서 screen blade가 flat blade보다 더 효율적이라는 결론을 얻었다.
A theoretical study was carried out for a system of mixing cells in series with intermix flow between adjacent stages and the results were combined with experimental data obtained from an extractor. Intermix flow ratio was measured as a function of the impeller rotational speed, the flow rates of the continuous phase and the dispersed phase, and the scrcen opening. It may be concluded that the screen blade is more effective than the flat blade in an extractor.
