H-infinity optimal terminal state control for linear systems with lumped and distributed time delays
In this paper we consider a linear time-varying system whose state equation is affected by time delays and subject to unknown, square integrable disturbances. Using a differential games approach, we provide a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an optimal control law minimizing the H-infinity norm of the operator mapping the disturbance to the weighted control and terminal state. An example, which illustrates the proposed technique, is also provided at the end of the paper.
