Dielectric Response and Fractal Nature in Ionic Materials
The wavenumber-dependent static dielectric function epsilon(k) and the fractal behavior of diffusion trajectories of ions in AgI are investigated theoretically using a method of molecular dynamics with pair potentials by Parrinello et al. At the temperature just over the melting point in the molten phase, the forerunning phenomena to the crystallization are found in epsilon(k) and fractal study.
