Effect of Content of BaTiO3, Surface Cubic Layer on the Ionic-Conductivity Enhancement in Composite Solid Electrolytes
The effect of the content of BaTiO3 surface cubic layer on the ionic conductivity enhancement of Na4Zr2Si3O12 has been investigated. The cubic content increases with increasing applied stress prior to the firing and also with increasing of the cooling rate during the processing of BaTiO3. The conductivity enhancement depends on the cubic content, and the extrinsic factors to control the enhancement are discussed.
