Physical-Properties of the de-Lithiated Li2-Xruo3 with the Layered Structure
The layered oxides, Li2-xRuO3, were synthesized by chemical oxidation using I-2 in CH3CN and their electrical and magnetic properties were investigated. The lithium deintercalation from Li2RuO3 caused the decrease of resistivity and the change in magnetic property from Curie-Weiss paramagnetism at x=0.0 to nearly temperature-independent paramagnetism at x=1.0. The relationship between oxidation states of the ruthenium ions and its physical properties was discussed.
