Evaluation and characteristics of a blend polymer for a solid polymer electrolyte
In this study, we tried to develop two types of gel polymer electrolyte by using poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoro-propylene)/poly(methyl methacrylate-co-vinyI acetate) blend polymer. One was a plain gel polymer electrolyte and the other was a microporous gel polymer electrolyte that was prepared by activating a microporous film with an electrolyte solution of 1 M LiClO4, in EC/PC (1:1 by vol%). The plain and porous gelled polymer electrolytes showed high lithium ionic conductivities above 1 mS/cm and sufficient electrochemical stability over 4.9 V (vs. Li+/Li).
